About the project
El Manar aims since 1983 to combine first quality fish and flawless know-how. Our cannery is based on traditional recipes and ultra-modern equipment. Manar Thon specializes in canning tuna and sardines and in the production of fish meal and oil. Manar Thon has been the leader on the Tunisian market since 1983. It markets a wide range of products under the brand «El Manar». Tunisia is renowned for the quality and mildness of the Mediterranean sardina, as well as for its formula for tuna canning. Manar Thon has promoted these traditions by incorporating them to the modern manufacturing process, thus ensuring quality, flavors and hygiene.
